Lesson 1: Why TikTok LIVE Will Change Your Business
Welcome to the Coach Carmel TikTok LIVE Training!
Before you begin, I encourage you to watch these lessons in order. Each lesson builds on the one before it, and together they create a simple, repeatable system that has helped me build my business through TikTok LIVE.
The purpose of this first lesson is not to teach you the technical side of going LIVE. We’ll cover that in the next lesson. Today, I simply want you to understand why I believe TikTok LIVE is one of the most powerful tools available for growing your business.
One of the biggest misconceptions people have is that you need to be a technology expert before you can go LIVE. That simply isn’t true. I don’t consider myself a technical person, and everything I’m teaching you is simple, practical, and based on what I personally do.
Going LIVE has been the single biggest factor in growing my business. It has allowed me to build genuine relationships with people, answer questions in real time, and connect with individuals who may never have found me through short videos alone.
The biggest obstacle I see is fear. Many people wait until they feel completely ready before they go LIVE. The reality is that almost no one feels ready for their very first broadcast. Confidence comes from taking action. Every LIVE teaches you something and helps you become more comfortable.
Remember this principle:
People connect with people before they connect with businesses.
Your goal isn’t to deliver the perfect presentation. Your goal is to build relationships. People are much more likely to work with someone they know, like, and trust.
I also encourage every member of our team to use our Community Discussion Group for support. Before you go LIVE, create an EVENT where you can announce you’re about to begin and include your TikTok account LINK. Often teammates will join your LIVE, leave encouraging comments, ask questions, and help create engagement during those important first few minutes.
