Lesson 4: Finishing Strong & Building Momentum
Congratulations on completing the TikTok LIVE Training!
By now, you have a simple, repeatable system for preparing, launching, and running your TikTok LIVES. The final step is learning how to finish each LIVE well and, most importantly, how to stay consistent over time.
As your LIVE begins winding down, let viewers know you’ll be ending soon. Give them one last opportunity to take a screenshot of your banner or board and save your contact information. Many people don’t take action immediately, so make it easy for them to reconnect later.
Whenever possible, stay LIVE for about 60 to 80 minutes. That gives viewers time to discover your LIVE, review your information, think about what you’ve shared, return with questions before you finish, and sometimes enroll while you’re still LIVE.
After each LIVE, check your messages—including message requests or spam folders—and respond promptly. I also recommend saving a simple follow-up message in your phone so you can quickly respond to new inquiries. If you’re using the arrow and TikTok board feature they will receive automated responses which makes things even more streamlined.
Take a screenshot of your LIVE analytics after each broadcast. Compare your progress to where you were last week or last month—not to someone who’s been doing this for years. Consistency creates growth over time.
Most importantly, don’t become discouraged if your first few LIVES have only a handful of viewers. My results didn’t happen overnight. They came from showing up consistently, continuing to learn, and refusing to quit.
TikTok will continue to change, but building genuine relationships never goes out of style. Stay teachable, remain flexible, and keep improving one LIVE at a time.
